Bell Housings

The HYDAC PTK Series Bell Housings combine flexible pump mounting with integrated oil/air cooling for efficient hydraulic system operation. Designed for IEC standard motors (1000–3000 rpm), they support both horizontal and vertical installation and are compatible with mineral oil and other fluids. Cooling is provided via a fan-driven oil/air cooler with a pressure rating up to 16 bar and a max oil temperature of +100°C.

HYDAC Bell Housings Type PTS & PT provide a secure and efficient connection between electric motors and hydraulic pumps. Available in both rigid and flexible mounting options, these housings are designed to meet VDMA 24561 standards and offer easy installation with pre-machined connecting flanges. Constructed from high-quality aluminum cast alloy, they are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.

HYDAC Bell Housing Sets offer a complete solution for connecting HYDAC pumps to drive motors quickly and reliably. Each set includes a precisely machined bell housing and a matching coupling, ensuring easy installation without the need for costly alignment. Optional foot brackets and damping rails are available to enhance performance and reduce vibration.

HYDAC Damping Rails are engineered to reduce vibration and noise levels in hydraulic systems by isolating bell housing foot brackets from structural surfaces. Made from durable NBR rubber, these rails are resistant to mineral oil and designed for horizontal installations in both light- and heavy-duty applications according to VDMA 24561 standards.

HYDAC Damping Rings provide an effective and economical solution for reducing noise and vibration by decoupling the hydraulic pump-motor assembly from the tank. Designed with a vulcanized seal lip, they eliminate the need for additional sealing components. Suitable for both vertical and horizontal mounting, these rings offer high stress resistance and are built from durable, mineral oil-resistant NBR rubber.

HYDAC bell housing mounting plate for bell housings types PT, PTK and PTS enables the complete motor-pump unit to be fitted and removed from outside the tank.

HYDAC Spider Couplings provide reliable, torsionally flexible connections with excellent vibration damping, thanks to a precision-molded polyurethane elastomer insert (98° Shore A). Designed for compression-only loading, these couplings are failsafe, maintenance-free, and accommodate axial, radial, and angular misalignment with ease.

• -40 °C to +120 °C for short-term operation

HYDAC Gear Couplings offer a flexible and durable shaft connection, ideal for applications requiring precise torque transmission without radial stress. Featuring a double Cardan design, they effectively compensate for axial, radial, and angular misalignments. The coupling hub is made of robust steel, while the sleeve is lightweight, wear-resistant polyamide.
