Alignment Pins and Accessories

Precision Ball Lock Pins with a ground shank that is positive locking until released by pushing the button

Economical , quick-release detent pin used in applications where grip length isn't important. These alignment pins are are equipped with a on spring-loaded locking ball and has a ring rather than a solid shoulder. The locking  balls use spring force to lock the pin in place and doesn't use positive locking like a ball lock pin. Using these detent pins is easy, simply push the pin to insert and pull to remove.

Slotted Locator Bushings are compatible with various alignment and locating pins to align two holes without binding. These precision bushings feature a tight tolerance in one direction and full relief in the perpendicular direction. The headed version offers increased resistance to axial loads, with the head either left exposed or recessed by counterboring the installation hole. Available for pin diameters ranging from 3/16" to 1/2". An optional version in hardened 440C stainless steel is also available.

Similar to a single-acting pin, except the center spindle has two grooves instead of one, to release the ball by either pushing or pulling

Hex head handle expanding pins are alignment pins that expand to offer the highest tolerance alignment of two holes possible. Created with female split bushings separated by male segments formed on centre spindle, that is allowed to expand when it is drawn together. They are available in standard pin diameters from ¼ to 3/4” in various available lengths.

Locking Clamping Pins are available as Complete Assembly, Pin Only and Bushing Only, similar to clamping pins except the pin is positively retained in the bushing. In its retracted position, the bushing's spring clip clips into the pin's radial groove. This prevents removal by using spring force to hold the pin in a fully retracted position. Depending on extended screw length, these threaded alignment pins can be used for clamping and locating, or clamping only. The clamping bushing is made separate from the pin, and is required to be welded in place at the proper length to fit the application.  These are available in thread sizes from #10-32 to 1/2-13 (M6 to M12 in metric)

Removable locating pins with a straight handle, precision-ground for accurate hole alignment. The pin body is inset into a solid handle and silver-soldered for a durable construction. The handle features a small hole for attaching an optional cable. Available in pin diameters ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" (6 to 12mm metric).
