The locking keys ensure the insert stays securely in place, preventing rotation. These are available in both steel and stainless steal as well as both metric and imperial sizes.
Carr Lane solid key inserts are useful for relocating a tapped or drilled hole. These inserts can be installed swiftly. Rotation of the insert is prevented by the locking keys. Solid Key Inserts are available in imperial and metric external thread sizes ranging from 5/16-18 to 1-3/8"-12 (M8-M30x2).
