Design and Project Management

Concept Design & Consultation
HYQUIP’s engineers are time served hydraulic technicians with many years of experience in the design of fluid power solutions. We provide, without obligation, independent technical advice. Within the determining factors, our design team will integrate electrical and pneumatic control systems, and include for interfacing mechanical works. Once all design parameters are established, a competitive tender will be provided for your perusal. Working in partnership with you – our objective is to propose the best overall solution – with the emphasis on function, performance and reliability.

We ensure that every project runs smoothly, is delivered on time and that legislative, in-house and customer specific standards are addressed. Quality plans, risk assessments and method statements are completed by qualified engineers. From receipt of your order through to contract fulfilment you will be assured of a professional service from a member of our experienced project engineering team.

HYQUIP operates a dedicated project office to ensure that every contract is successfully managed. Performance is measured monthly and the Engineering Manager is a dedicated member of the Management Review Team for ISO 9001. From receipt of order through to contract fulfilment you will be assured of a personal service from a member of our experienced project engineering team.

HYQUIP Project Engineers lead from the front, they carry out system detailing using the latest 2D and 3D CAD software, they oversee workshop build and testing, they attend client meetings post contract and they are responsible for overseeing site commissioning ensuring total backup for Hyquip hydraulic technicians.

Project Engineers have total responsibility for ensuring all documentation is completed. Documentation is issued with the delivery of the Hydraulic Power Unit, actuators and associated hardware. Thereafter an ‘as build’ or ‘as commissioned’ set of drawings will be issued should additional information be required on the drawings.

All design elements assume compliance with EN982 and ISO 9001 and documentation includes a combined Certificate of Conformity / Declaration of Incorporation, a full set of schematic drawings, and a HYQUIP Start Up, Maintenance and Fault Finding Manual as standard.
