Construction balls

A precision tooling ball serves as a reference for essential inspection, layout, and machining tasks. The shoulder type design includes a precision height-reference shoulder that ensures accurate three-dimensional positioning of the ball. The concentricity between the ball and shank is maintained within a tolerance of .0002" TIR. These balls are available in sizes of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4" (6mm, 12mm, and 20mm in metric), and are offered in both steel and stainless steel materials.

The concentricity between the ball and shank is within .0002" TIR. These construction balls are offered in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" ball sizes.

A precision pad for securing a Construction Ball. These pads must be attached using two socket-head cap screws, and dowels should be added to ensure precise positioning. To secure the Construction Ball, install a setscrew (not included) in the crosshole. Carr Lanes construction ball covers are manufactured from durable die-cast zinc to protect construction balls from any damage or impairment after setting. These covers are designed with two hole which allows the cover to be attached using #10 screws. One size accommodates all construction balls.
