High strength weldless forged alloy-steel ring. These Forged ring heat treated with black oxide finish, the largest size Forged Ring (49,000 lbs capacity) is oval shaped.
Carr Lane Diamond-Groove Bushings are manufactured for cast-in-place or potted setups. Their diamond-knurled outer diameter offers superior grip, resisting both rotational and axial forces effectively. As the outer diameter is not ground, it’s essential to precisely position the inner diameter during casting or potting to ensure the completed tool’s accuracy.
Carr Lane Liner bushings are permanently installed bushings used to hold renewable drill bushings. The inner diameter of the liner has an exact sliding tolerance with the outer diameter of the replaceable bushing. This arrangement ensures the correct positioning of the replaceable bushing and shields the jig plate from damage and wear caused by regular bushing changes. The "length" specified for an HL bushing refers to its total length, not the portion beneath the head. These are available in both ground and unground options.
Carr Lane Press fit bushings are the most common yet most cost-effective type of drill bushing in the range. P-style drill bushings are the most common and cost-effective type of drill bushing. These bushings are permanently installed into the jig plate, typically flush with the top surface. Press fit bushings (P- style) bushings are primarily used for single-operation drilling or reaming, particularly when there is no expectation of replacing the bushings throughout the tooling's lifespan. They can be mounted closer together than headed bushings but provide less resistance to heavy axial loads. These are available in both ground and unground variants. Carr Lane Side-Pull Hoist Rings are designed for side mounting applications. These Side-pull hoist rings enable the rotation and repositioning of loads without needing to detach them, by using a spreader bar. The lifting ring on these hoist rings can rotate 360° and pivot 180°, providing versatile lifting from any angle. Standard versions of the Carr Lane Side-Pull Hoist Rings feature inch threads with load capacities up to 2,500 lbs or metric threads with capacities up to 3,500 lbs. The Heavy-Duty Hoist Rings in this section offer inch threads with capacities up to 10,000 lbs. or metric threads with capacities up to 9,200 lbs. These are available in both triangular ring and D ring variations.

Carr Lane Lock screws can be used on either the "slip" side or the "fixed" side of a slip/fixed renewable bushing. Lockscrews are the most popular locking device for renewable drill bushings. These Lockscrews are designed and manufactured to be simple, strong, compact, and economical. Carr Lane lockscrews are available in a wide variety of sizes to accommodate renewable bushings ranging from 3/16" to 5" body diameter. TW series also available for thin-wall bushings. These Lockscrews are now only available in packs of 5.
