Carr Lane offer a wide range of horizontal handle toggle clamps including the standard HTC design as well as extra-wide opening and low arm handle variants. These are available in seven sizes, commonly available with an option of straight or flanged base with either a solid or open arm. These are available in both steel and stainless steel with a range of holding capacities to suit the needs of your application.

Carr Lane Horizontal Handle Toggle Clamps

Quick-acting hold-down clamps are clamped with their handle locked in horizontal position. Rotating the handle downward pivots the clamping arm downward in the opposite direction, then locks over centre. Available in multiple designs.

Standard HTC Design - Most-popular and widest-range series of horizontal-handle hold-down clamps. Available in seven sizes, the smaller ones with a comfortable finger grip. Most sizes are available with either a flanged base or a straight base with a choice of solid arm, or open arm for spindle adjustment.

Low-Arm TC Design - Simple, classic-design horizontal-handle clamps. Available in four sizes, with either a flanged base or a straight base.

Extra-Wide Opening - Arm opens a full 185° for maximum loading clearance. Unique up-then-down handle motion. Handle locks at a 60° downward angle. Dual flanged bases allow mounting on either horizontal or vertical surfaces. Choice of solid arm, or open arm for spindle adjustment.

Carr Lane Adjustable-Torque Thumb Screws

Adjustable-toque thumb screws exert positive and repeatable force. When turned clockwise, the knob disengages and rotates freely once the desired torque is reached. Turning it anti-clockwise locks the knob for secure retraction. Adjustable-Torque Thumb Screws come with a swivel foot option and a knurled check nut. These screws are available in body-thread sizes ranging from #10-32 to 5/8-11 (M5 to M16 in metric), with various length options.
