Carr Lane Head Press Fit Bushings are a variation of standard press fit bushings, featuring a head designed to withstand significant axial loads. These bushings are permanently installed into the jig plate and are typically used for single-operation drilling or reaming, where the bushings are not intended to be replaced throughout the tooling's lifespan. The head of these bushings can either remain exposed or be recessed by counterboring the installation hole.

Carr Lane Fully Threaded Studs

Carr Lane fully threaded studs are ideal for creating custom assemblies with thread-locking adhesives, such as stud-type hand knobs and cushion spindles for toggle clamps. These are manufactured from 316 stainless steel to offer excellent corrosion resistance. Fully threaded studs are available in thread sizes ranging from #10-32 to 1/2-13 (M5 to M10 in metric). Carr Lane also offer larger sizes for use as clamping studs in forged adjustable clamps. These larger studs are manufactured from high-carbon steel with sizes that range from 5/16-18 to 1"-8 (M8 to M24 in metric).

Carr Lane vertical handle toggle clamps are hold-down clamps with their handle locked in vertical position when clamped. Rotating the handle of vertical toggle clamps upward pivots the clamping arm downward, then locks over centre.  Carr Lane vertical handle toggle clamps are offered in a varied range including heavy-duty, automatically adjusting, angle arm and standard wide opening vertical toggle clamps. Low and high arm vertical toggle clamps are available  in standard and heavy-duty materials with the capability of providing up to 5,000-lbs. of clamping force, depending on the model.  These items are available in both steel and stainless stell with a wide range of holding capacities.

The palm grip knob handle features an ergonomic design that ensures a comfortable hold, significantly alleviating strain on the hands, wrists, and arms. Offered in a single handle size, it comes with tapped-hole options ranging from 1/4-20 to 3/8-16. The tapered, heavy-duty design offers an ideal grip as a handle or machine shift lever. Threaded Detent Pins have one threaded end for a knob handle to be secured onto. The threaded end fits any type of virtually knob handle, which can be found under the Handles, knobs and screw clamps page. Detent pins are available in stainless steel only, are solid alignment pins with a ground shank and a threaded end for a knob handle, which must be ordered separately.
