MD Paul Taylor Attends Carr Lane Conference And Visits New Facility

Back in October, our Managing Director, Paul Taylor attended the first Carr Lane Distributor Conference and visited their new manufacturing facility. Read more about his exciting visit below:

Big shout out to Carr Lane Manufacturing Co. on their first worldwide Distributor Conference in Austin TX and congratulations to Colin Frost on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer. Having had the pleasure of visiting previous CL manufacturing plants in Austin, this new 50,000-square-foot, custom-built site in Elgin is an amazing transformation to meet today’s manufacturing demands and the wellbeing of its employees which was very evident walking around the facility and meeting the CL team from all three manufacturing facilities… Algin, St Louis and Chennai, India. After all, who else has a gym, football pitch, wellness room and a manufacturing shop floor clean enough to eat your dinner from!

From watching the spade cut the first soil, to the empty shell of a building in March, a seamless move with minimal disruption to deliveries over the last few months and experiencing the new manufacturing facility in operation during our factory tour it is clear how much work has gone into this $12m plus investment by all involved and the commitment from Nancy and the board who continue to invest and build on 75 years of Carr Lane Manufacturing. Carr Lane continues to be best in sector globally serving aerospace and all other industrial manufacturers with standard tooling parts.
