The CytroCore for Hydrogen is a compact, high-performance servo-hydraulic drive system fitted with software and a CGV compressor Cylinder (ATEX) making it for dry-running reciprocating hydrogen compressors. It integrates hydraulics, electrics, controls, software, and an ATEX-certified compressor cylinder into a single solution for easy system integration. Using an SHP4V pump unit with an A4VZA pump and variable-speed servo synchronous motor, it delivers precise, dynamic compressor control, ensuring high gas-side efficiency at elevated pressures and operating frequencies. The system can generate forces up to 2,500 kN and speeds up to 0.8 m/s for maximum compressor performance.

Hydraulic power unit CytroBox

The CytroBox – A Compact, energy-efficient, quit and connected hydraulic power unit that requires 50% less space, saves up to 80% of energy, reduces oil volume by 75% and reduces noise emissions by 10dB(A). The digital service CytroConnect makes the CytroBox a “Connected Product” using Cloud-based standardized applications provide the user with visualization and evaluation of system status on mobil devices.

CytroBox’s all-in-one power unit saves space in production lines, combining a small footprint with a compact design, which also includes the degassing and flow-optimized tank. Thanks to a CFD simulation, the oil volume is reduced by 75 percent from 600 litres to 150 litres. To reduce the size even more, its high-performance synchronous motors have a length of only 400mm and a diameter of 200mm, making them up to 90 percent smaller than comparable asynchronous motors. Further advantages of the synchronous technology includes higher dynamics and increased energy density. In addition to the compact components, the cooling lines held to a minimum thanks to the innovative water-cooling concept.
