Carr Lane’s standard rectangular key is designed for fixtures with a slot for mounting on a specific machine table. The slot depth in the fixture should be half of the B dimension. It is available for table-slot sizes ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/16" (12mm to 20mm in metric). It is secured with a socket-head cap screw.
Carr Lane fixture studs are designed with a thread-locking interference thread at the bottom end to install in a fixture plate on a permanent basis. These small sizes are manufactured precisely and especially for mini sizes stainless clamp straps. These fixture studs are available in thread sizes from #10-32 to 3/8-16 with a range of lengths to choose from.
Carr Lane's flange nuts are heavy-hex nuts featuring a flanged face. The wide bearing surface helps protect the part beneath the nut from damage while offering enhanced strength. They are perfect for clamping over slots and are fully machined from solid barstock for added durability. These are available in steel with thread sizes from 1/4-20 to 1-1/4"-7 (M6 to M24 in metric), and in stainless steel with thread sizes from #10-32 to 5/8-11. Many of the inch sizes of this product are also available with fine thread pitch.
Carr Lane’s floating locating pins provide precise location in one particular axis while allowing considerable float in the correlating perpendicular axis. Typically used along with a Round Pin to locate two machined holes in a workpiece or to align two fixture components without causing binding. Chamfered tip especially manufactured for easy part loading. These pins are function in a manner similar to Diamond Pins, except they allow greater variation in hole spacing. Floating locating pins are available in pin diameters 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8".
Carr Lane forged adjustable clamps are available in several variations. Thes include standard, flange nut assembly and hand knob assembly. These clamps deliver quick height adjustment without the need for blocks or shims. Its integrated design ensures fast setup and prevents the loss of clamp components. The clamp can be rotated 90° in either direction for added loading clearance. A removable brass heel protects the machine table. Available for stud sizes from 5/16-18 to 1"-8 (M8 to M24 in metric).
