HYDAC MG/MA Spin-on Filter Elements, available in sizes 0080, 0160, and 0180, feature durable Betamicron® or paper media with filtration ratings from 3 µm to 20 µm, and are designed for use in MF, MFD, and BL series filters, providing reliable performance up to 8 bar with easy, clean element replacement via ISO 228 (MG) or UN thread (MA) spin-on cartridges.

FILTER CARTRIDGES:

  • MG: Cartridge connection thread, to ISO 228 Sealing on inside (Note: the seal on the 0080 MA cartridge is also on the inside!)

  • Changing a spin-on element is a relatively clean and simple operation since the bowl and element are a single piece
  • Proper support of the filter media provides high Beta Ratio values (particle removal efficiency) even at high differential pressures
  • The efficiency of many competitive elements drastically deteriorates as the element clogs and differential pressure increases
  • Betamicron® filter media is firmly supported to achieve flow fatigue resistance during significant pressure flow pulsations
  • High quality adhesive is used to bond the seam of the media and endcaps to the media
  • Heavy gauge perforated support tubes are used to provide proper flow distribution and protection against element collapse
