Minibooster M-HC2258
The M-HC2258 is a compact unit weighing 6.1 kg. It is ideal for use in a variety of applications where building and maintaining high pressure is required.
The MHC2258 incorporates a counterbalance valve, a pressure reducing valve (PRV) and a high pressure relief valve.
The integrated counterbalance valve allows fast-forward movement of a cylinder by directing the full inlet flow to pass directly through the booster section until the set pressure has been reached. Then the counterbalance valve opens, and the booster starts oscillating.
The integrated pressure reducing valve controls inlet pressure to the booster section. It protects both booster and high-pressure tool against too high pressure. It secures a stable high pressure regardless of changes in the tank line pressure.
The adjustable pressure relief valve controls the maximum allowable pressure the system can output, allowing the booster to go for a higher end pressure producing flow at the decided pressure.
The M-HC2258 raises supplied pressure to a higher outlet pressure and automatically compensates for oil consumption to maintain the high pressure. Adjustment of the outlet pressure is carried out by varying the supplied pressure.
An optional orifice can be mounted in both IN- and R-ports of the booster to prevent overspeeding.
