Threaded Body Cylinders
ROEMHELD B1.450 Hydraulic Threaded Body Cylinders
- Single acting, spring return with wiper
- Operating pressure 500 bar maximum
- 4 sizes available
- Strokes 8 to 16 mm
- Clamping forces 5.6 to 40 kN at 500 bar
These hydraulic cylinders are threaded directly into the tapped holes of a clamping fixture. They are a compact solution and can be used to great advantage in fixtures where space is at a premium. Hydraulic fluid is supplied through passageways drilled into the fixture body, this reducing the use of hydraulic pipework, fittings and hoses. The built-in spring returns the piston when hydraulic pressure is released. The female threads at the piston rod end is designed to accept a contact bolt.
See datasheet G 3.800 for contact bolts.

See datasheet G 3.800 for contact bolts.
Important notes:
- Threaded-body cylinders must not be subjected to a load in retracted position
- Operating conditions, tolerances and other data see datasheet A 0.100
