Adjustable-torque thumb screws exert positive and repeatable force. When turned clockwise, the knob disengages and rotates freely once the desired torque is reach. Turning it anti-clockwise locks the knob for a secure retraction. These can be used as a controlled-torque nut or as a thumb screw by fitting a custom screw in the tapped hole. Available in both metric and imperial sizes.

Knurled knob that exerts positive, repeatable force. Clockwise, the knob declutches and turns freely when you reach the desired torque, counterclockwise, the knob locks for positive retraction. Can be used as a controlled-torque nut, or as a thumb screw by installing a custom-made screw in the tapped hole.
Operating Instructions
To set desired force, first remove the outer cover screw at the side of the knob, to expose the adjustment screw. Next, insert a hex wrench to turn the adjustment screw until desired torque is achieved. Reinstall the outer cover screw when finished. Torque can be adjusted from 3 to 6 inch-lbs, resulting in a contact force of 10 to 125 lbs, but these values are approximate. Force can vary +/- 30% depending on lubrication and other operating conditions.

Clamping screws that accepts a wide assortment of swivel feet
This fast-acting knob slides in and out of the clamping position, perfect for situations where complete removal of the knob is necessary for loading. To engage, tilt the knob to slide it in, then straighten to align the threads and tighten. For removal, simply loosen the knob and tilt it to slide out. Available in tapped-hole sizes ranging from #10-24 to 1/2-13 (M5 to M12 metric).
Adjustable-toque thumb screws exert positive and repeatable force. When turned clockwise, the knob disengages and rotates freely once the desired torque is reached. Turning it anti-clockwise locks the knob for secure retraction. Adjustable-Torque Thumb Screws come with a swivel foot option and a knurled check nut. These screws are available in body-thread sizes ranging from #10-32 to 5/8-11 (M5 to M16 in metric), with various length options.
Carr Lane Head Liners are similar to L bushings but include a head that offers resistance to substantial axial forces. The inner diameter of the liner has an exact sliding tolerance with the outer diameter of the replaceable bushing. This arrangement ensures the correct positioning of the replaceable bushing and shields the jig plate from damage and wear caused by regular bushing changes. The "length" specified for an HL bushing refers to its total length, not the portion beneath the head. These are available in both metric and imperial sizing.
