A precision locating pin is commonly used with a matching bushing to align two parts of a fixture. The pin’s head and shank diameters are concentric within .0005" TIR. Available in pin diameters of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" (6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm in metric). A precision bushing is used with a Bullet-Nose Dowel to align two components of a fixture. The bushing’s ID and OD are concentric within .0003" TIR. Available for pin diameters of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" (6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm in metric).
Depending on extended screw length, these threaded alignment pins can be used for clamping and locating, or clamping only. The clamping bushing is made separate from the pin, and is required to be welded in place at the proper length to fit the application. These are available in thread sizes from #10-32 to 1/2-13 (M6 to M12 in metric)

The mating bushing is paired with a Cone Locator Pin to align two pieces of a fixture. These are offered with 1/2 and 3/4" shank diameters (12 and 20mm in metric).
Slotted Locator Bushings are compatible with various alignment and locating pins to align two holes without binding. These precision bushings feature a tight tolerance in one direction and full relief in the perpendicular direction. . Available for pin diameters ranging from 3/16" to 1/2".
