These precision locating pins feature a chamfered tip for effortless part loading and a shoulder that helps resist downward forces. Typically, one Round Pin and one Diamond Pin are used together to locate two machined holes in a workpiece or to align two fixture components without causing binding. The head and shank diameters of the round locating pins are concentric to within .0005" TIR. These pins are available with head diameters ranging from 1/4" to 1" (6 to 20mm in metric).

Carr Lanes cone locating pin is designed to be used with the matching bushing. These pins are ideal for the fast assembly of two fixture parts, as they help accommodate significant misalignment.
