ROEMHELD B1.450 Hydraulic Threaded Body Cylinders
These hydraulic cylinders are threaded directly into the tapped holes of a clamping fixture. They are a compact solution and can be used to great advantage in fixtures where space is at a premium. Hydraulic fluid is supplied through passageways drilled into the fixture body, this reducing the use of hydraulic pipework, fittings and hoses. The built-in spring returns the piston when hydraulic pressure is released. The female threads at the piston rod end is designed to accept a contact bolt.

ROEMHELD B1.460 Threaded Body Cylinder: single acting with spring return
These threaded-body cylinders can be threaded directly into tapped holes in the fixture down to the hex-section of the cylinder body. Spacings between cylinders can be minimised when cylinders are arranged in a row, since the oil is fed through drilled passages in the fixture. Sealing is made with the supplied sealing ring at the bottom of the location hole. A long piston guide in combination with an O-ring/back-ring seal provides trouble-free operation.

Captive Locating Screws can be used for locating and clamping, or for clamping only, by selecting the appropriate screw length. The locating screw's precision-ground body is positively retained in a locking bushing and in fully retracted position, the bushing's spring clip snaps into the body's radial groove, holding the fully retracted screw by spring force and positively prevents removal. Spring pressure also holds the screw in intermediate extended positions, an advantage especially if the fixture is turned upside down. Available in thread sizes from 1/4-20 to 1/2-13.Locking-Pin Bushings are designed to press fit in a standard reamed hole. Secure with the included Lock screw to positively hold the bushing in place. Shorter or longer bushings are available in most sizes, for thinner or thicker plates.

In fully retracted position, the bushing's spring clip snaps into the pin's groove, holding the pin fully retracted by spring force and positively preventing removal.Spring pressure also holds the pin in intermediate extended positions, an advantage especially if the fixture is turned upside down. Like standard Jig Pins, Captive Jig pins have an integral shoulder to keep the handle raised.
Slotted Locator Bushings are compatible with various alignment and locating pins to align two holes without binding. These precision bushings feature a tight tolerance in one direction and full relief in the perpendicular direction. The headed version offers increased resistance to axial loads, with the head either left exposed or recessed by counterboring the installation hole. Available for pin diameters ranging from 3/16" to 1/2". An optional version in hardened 440C stainless steel is also available.
