Standard automatic coupling systems for single and double-acting elements are available. Each coupling system consists of a coupling unit and the corresponding coupling nipple unit. According to the application several components can be added to the coupling system that meet different safety requirements. The automatic coupling systems allow coupling against system pressure up to a max. operating pressure of 500 bar.

The screw pump is especially suited as a pressure source for very small clamping fixtures, which must be independent of an external pressure source.

An oscillating pump piston, that will be automatically reversed in the end positions by a hydraulically-operated valve, is installed in the intensifier. The ratio of the piston areas corresponds to the intensification ratio. For unhindered flow in the low-pressure range, the pump piston will be bypassed by means of a bypass-line. A pilot-controlled check valve shuts off the high pressure.

A special feature is the mounting of pump and electric motor in the reservoir. Thus hydraulic and electric control can be arranged in a space saving way and easily accessible on the reservoir cover. The modular design enables a multitude of control variants. The radial piston pump is available with three different flow rates and operating pressures. To allow an energy-saving intermittent cycling only leakage-free poppet valves are used.

In the body of the threaded-body work support a thin-walled locking bush is integrated, which locks cylindrically around the freely-movable support plunger when pressurising the element with hydraulic oil. The support plunger is extended and retracted by means of a small double-acting cylinder. The threaded-body work supports are protected against swarf by a metallic wiper and sealed against liquids.

When pressurising the element, the piston moves upwards and swivels the clamping lever over the hinges forwards and at the same time downwards onto the workpiece. The piston force is deviated by 180° and is available as clamping force with virtually no loss of efficiency.

This Bore Clamp is a combination of a double acting pull-type cylinder equipped with a segement clamping bushing, which is pulled by a tie rod over a fixed cone. Thereby the segment clamping bushing expands radially to the bore diameter of the workpiece to be clamped.
