This cylinder for a stroke end control supplies the required information about the position of the piston. Control is made by pressure-proof sensors, which are fixed at the corresponding stroke end of the cylinder piston in the body.

Threaded-body cylinders are suitable for clamping of smaller workpieces in clamping fixtures. Sealing is made with the sealing ring supplied on a machined surface in a M12x1.5mm hole on the fixture. Multiple can be installed on a pitch as small as 15mm. Where the supplied sealing ring cannot be used, sealing nuts 3300-406 are available for sealing on the machined surface of the fixture as opposed to inside the threaded hole. Other mounting options included a connecting housing 3467-064 and hexagonal nuts 3300-408.

The two cylinder heads in block form are connected by a HP tube, in which the piston is guided. The HP tube and the chromium-plated piston rod material are cut goods, which allows manufacturing of any piston strokes in a very short time.

These threaded-body cylinders allow direct tube or hose connection. Due to elimination of the pipe union a particularly compact assembly results. Depending on wall strength and fixing method (thread or bore) a certain adjustment is possible. The cylinders can also be screwed into threaded bores. Sealing is then effected by the sealing nut available as accessory. By adjustment, workpiece tolerances of more than 20 mm can be absorbed.

These built-in elements consist of piston and threaded bushing. The piston is inserted into the location hole of the fixture. Then the built-in bushing is screwed into the fixture body. The bushing is let-in flush to the housing. Tightening of the threaded bushing is made with a pin-type face spanner.

These threaded-body cylinders can be threaded directly into tapped holes in the fixture down to the hex-section of the cylinder body. Spacings between cylinders can be minimised when cylinders are arranged in a row, since the oil is fed through drilled passages in the fixture. Sealing is made with the supplied sealing ring at the bottom of the location hole. A long piston guide in combination with an O-ring/back-ring seal provides trouble-free operation.

The piston is equipped with a rod of diameter 10 mm that protrudes at the cylinder bottom. At this rod the customer can fix a control cam that is used to operate any limit switch or sensor. As an accessory a complete position monitoring system is available. This unit contains a control cam as well as two inductive proximity switches. The switches can be displaced in the housing which will be screwed to the bottom of the cylinder.
